MKHS Band - Play Days Parade 2011

This site was created to organize the first MKHS Multi-Year Reunion held on September 22, 2006 in Huntington Beach, California.  There were 650 guests in attendance that included alumni from class years 1967 thru 1988.  Pictures from that evening are posted on the "Photo Album" page. 

The 2011 MKHS Multi-Year Reunion was held on Saturday, September 24th at the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles.  We had more than 350 alumni and guests in attendance!  The "Mark Keppel High School" Facebook page has a hundreds of photos posted:

This site's purpose is two-fold: 1) to promote the MKHS Alumni Association and 2) share information regarding MKHS alumni and events.  The  Association incorporated in the State of California in January 2010 and was granted not-for-profit status by the U.S. Treasury in March 2011.  We are the only formally recognized alumni group for Mark Keppel High School located in Alhambra, California.  The school's official web site address is: www.mkhs.org.

ALUMNI EVENTS:

MKHS Annual All-Classes Vegas Reunion

When:  Thursday, May 17th thru Sunday, May 20th

Where:  Boulder Station
            4111 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas NV  89121

This is a group of alumni primarily from the 60's that has been meeting in Vegas for at least a decade on an annual basis.  Ed Griffith '67 and Sandy Warner '60 organize this event.  Alumni begin arriving on Wednesday; some stay beyond the Sunday end-date.  The "official" event takes place on Saturday night. 

Boulder Station room rates:  *$35 per night (double) - 5/16 & 5/17
                                        *$70 per night (double) - 5/18 - 5/19

Saturday Night Banquet:  $35 - $45 per person - less if purchased early

The banquet includes cocktails at 5 p.m. and a buffet dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Dancing from 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
