We're planning an alumni softball game on Sunday morning at Barnes Park. This is going to be a fun pick-up game with mixed teams headed up by me, Brian DeJesus '80, and Larry Obata '78. Our plan is to meet at the field at 10:00a for warm-up stretches with the first pitch at 11:00a. (Yes, we ALL need to get in some stretching before we begin!) We're looking for the following:
- PLAYERS: Women & men alumni will have first priority, but if we're short, we can sub in kids (over 18), spouses, or significant others.
- EQUIPMENT: Larry '78 is supplying the bases and bats. (Thanks, Larry!) Please bring a glove! If you don't have one, we'll share.
- PINCH RUNNERS: Will be allowed, as long as they're over 18.
- UMPIRES: If you want to be involved, but can't play, be an ump! You must be familiar with the rules of the game!
- SPECTATORS: We need everyone to support and cheer us on! All are welcome!
Lidia DeLaRosa-Korinko '81 designed the game shirt. It's a Gilden heavy cotton 3/4-sleeve t-shirt available for purchase (PRE-SALE ONLY!) to wear at the game:

No, you don't need to purchase a t-shirt to play and you don't need to play to wear a t-shirt! The shirts will be distributed at Barnes Park at check-in before the game.
