OMG! Somebody call 9-1-1 - I think I'm in shock! Don't bail, cuz - you better be there! You know I love ya like a brother!
Looking forward to seeing old friends from 74 and 75 like Debra Monroy,Theresa Rodriguez,Gary Pacillas and Frank Delavega.Hope you guys show up.
Brenda..... it sounds like you might have very interesting photos from the 2nd boat ride! For those of you who did not attend our last meeting. Once our meeting was over, Rick Garcia offered to go out and cruise Newport Beach Harbor again and disco the night away.... it sounds like the folks that went had a good time! Brenda... want to share any photos?
I am breaking out my Kennington terry cloth brown polo with a vertical yellow stripe. The pants will be beige saddleback bell bottoms. Shoes are Tom McKan and will be fake Wallabe.
BDJ Millers Outpost?? Yikes...think fashion out of the box....hummm Who loves ya baby!!!
Between all the comments about the music from the past or memories of our wardrobe, I'm not sure what's funnier but you guys sure keep the conversaation fun. Hey Joey, if your reading the board Ern was glad you called and we're both looking forward to seeing you and many friends next month. Arlene Garcia, drop me a line! It's been a long time. See Ya!
Hey Bill, Thanks for the Grammer correction. I knew when I wrote it, that it wasn't right. By the way, Brandis was on Telegraph and Greenwood-not Atlantic. Just a little FYI. I think I when there to see a few groups like LIME, remember, "You Love" LOL!!! David Miranda "82"
I remember LIME, they were awesome. Hope to hear the DJ's playing some of that good old disco at the reunion.
now just wait one minute.... what is with all the "disco" talk? i can groove with some good r&b (all Motown, Earth, Wind & Fire), but we MUST HAVE some classic Rock! Eagles, Paul MacCartney - Wings, Fleetwod Mac, Queen, Who, Phil Collins.... However, I do enjoy dancing, so we can not forget my favorite generation of music... Oingo Boingo, Clash, Elvis Costello, oh the list can go on... Dave/Albert.... you two will have your work cut out for both of you.... this is a HUGE span of music and both DJ's will be called on to keep EVERYONE's musical needs satisfied! I hope the two of you are up to the task!
This ain't no party, this ain't no disco, this ain't no foolin around. No time for dancing, or lovey dovey, I ain't got time for that now. Transmit the message to the receiver, hope for an answer some day. I got three passports, a couple of visas, don't' even know my real name. I got some groceries, some peanut butter, to last a couple of days. But I ain't got no speakers, ain't got no headphones, ain't got no records to play. This ain't no party, this ain't no disco, this ain't no foolin around. This ain't no mudd club or CBGB, I ain't got time for that now. We dress like students, we dress like houswives, or in a suit and a tie. I changed my hairstyle so many times now, I don't know what I look like. This ain't no party, this ain' no disco.

To all Keppel Alumni- HAPPY THAANKSGIVING !!! I hope everyone has a happy and festive Thanksgiving. I have so much to be thankful for- My kids (thanks Martha "81"), wife, famiy and career. Someone told me something years ago that I will never forget, " The things in life we need to be most thankful for cannot be bought, but are given to us." DON'T EAT TOO MUCH TURKEY!!!;)
I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a great New Year, especially to Dave, Bri, Malena, Georgina, Natalie and Marie. It's been great being around my old and new-old friends this past year. I've had a blast and I know we'll keep it going in the new year. Love, Martha
I wanted to wish all of you a Merry and Blessed Christmas! Hope you all have Health and Happiness in the new year! This past year has been filled with many renewed friendships that I am thankful for. It's been so much fun reuniting and reconnecting with many special people in my life. Your Friendships will stay with me always~ Joey, John, Martha, Belinda Olga, Diane, Jeanette, Dolores, Wendy, Anna, Yvette, Diana,Virgina,Irene,Millie, Rochelle, Theresa, and some that I may not have mentioned to you all a very Happy 2007!!!! Be Well and God Bless Always~
I know it's almost over, but here's wishing all our Jewish alumni a Happy Hannukah.
Ave, I enjoyed reuniting with fellow alumni that beautiful evening back in September, 2006. However, I am dissappointed with the services rendered by the reunion photographer (Richard Garcia). I hope other alumni have not had the same problems I have had in trying to obtain photos taken that evening. I have contacted Mr. Garcia numerous times, but he seems to fail to professionally respond with a call back. It is my recommendation this lack of professional photographer not be used for any other special events. Thank-you for trying, but I believe Mr. Garcia finds it intriguing to keep money and not return the goods for a product already paid for. I hope he reads this message and understand his business will only thrive if he remains a legitimate business. Thanks and God bless!!
Well, another graduation day has come and gone. There couldn't be a better day for a high school graduation then on a Memorial Day weekend! I hope everyone is doing great this weekend. Have fun and take it safe.

Hello Alumni.. Our Football player's are in DESPERATE NEED OF OUR HELP... Due to all of the construction that's been going on at the school, the powers that be told the Varsity Head Coach that he would have to wait until three weeks before the season started to practice !!!! WELL, my nephew Bobby Madrid, MKHS graduate who's been coaching football since he graduated in 1992 took his team to the Varsity Baseball field and that is where they practice. They have NO RUNNING WATER THERE. I AM ASKING ANYONE WHO'S IN THE AREA FOR DONATIONS OF PEDIALITE (BETTER THAN GATORADE TO PREVENT CRAMPING) AND BOTTLED WATER. They have Passing League games 2 sometimes 3 times a week at different locations. If you don't feel comfortable going to the school you can always drop it off at my house on New Avenue. If anyone knows or works for a water company, you know the ones that refill the containers for you? Will you please get back to me? I'm trying to find someone to help us out with free refills for the team on a daily basis. That stuff is expensive for a coach who's been left out in the cold. He has NO SUPPORT FROM THE SCHOOL, SCHOOL DISTRICT OR ANY PRIVATE ENTITIES AT THIS TIME. I have discussed offering any company that would be willing to help us free ad space in the football program. He can do that, it's not much but it's all he can do. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN HELP. THEY HAVE A GAME TUESDAY, JULY 22, ON THE VARSITY BASEBALL FIELD AT KEPPEL IF YOU'D LIKE TO STOP BY. AGAIN, HIS NAME IS BOBBY MADRID. ** HE ALSO NEEDS FOOTBALLS FOR THE TEAM!!!! NO KIDDING... IF YOU'D LIKE TO DONATE A FOOTBALL I THINK THEY SELL THE KIND HE USES AT JEFF'S SPORTING GOODS ON VALLEY IN SAN GABRIEL. I COULDN'T HAVE MADE THIS UP IF I TRIED. THIS IS REALLY WHAT'S GOING ON AT OUR SCHOOL IN THIS DAY AND AGE. Thank you so much for your time. xoxo Malena, class of 1983
Went to Ynez(72) Then to Keppel until 73 moved to westminster.
class of 73 hope everyone is doing fine, trying to locate john ageewill send some pics later THANKS
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL FATHERS OF THE PAST, PRESENT AND FATHERS TO BE! "THERE IS NO JOB, I WOULD LOVE TO DO BETTER"!
HI TO EVERY ONE IN THE CLASS OF 79! HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING WELL. MIKE DIAZ 79
Good Day Malena: It saddens me to read about the lack of support the MKHS football team is receiving for up coming year. Specifically the need for water for its football players. Being a former varsity player for the Class of 79, I remember all the things Coach Baldwin and his staff did for his young men during our formidable years. Currently, I live up here in the High Desert where water is a precious commodity. Please contact me and I will see how water can be sent to Bobbie Madrid to assist in what little way I can. I cannot promise to resolve his predicament, but as MKHS alumni we should try and do our share. My email address is cruisenthehighway@msn.com. I don't think we have ever met, being I left a few years after you graduated. But perhaps my response will also kindle the spirit of assist for our MKHS students. Mark Keppel has aged, and it is a sad day when we have turned our backs on the entire school system that has helped us become productive members of society. ALSO, I CHALLENGE ALL ALUMNI TO HELP WITH A CAUSE THAT WILL BLESS OUR KIDS. I'll await your response for further follow-up. God bless!!!
