I just came across this horrible news. I played 3 years at Mark Keppel with Brett as a teammate. In my freshman year, Brett and I played a doubles tournament in El Monte, and we lost in the semis, but I remember what a great teammate and Brett was. It's been 42 years since I spoke with Brett, and I feel the lost. My prayers to his family and his bride.

I played doubles with Brett and with his sister Robyn at Keppel on the Varsity Tennis team (Yes, Robyn played on the Boys team-she was awesome). I was sad to hear this news and wish I was able to stay in touch over the years. Brett was a huge reason for the suceess of the Tennis program the 4 years we played on the team, always a winner and always a team player.Dandan@dhfco.com
