This is a picture of me and my godson Devin (PFC Devin KP Cardenas), he was killed in an Army Training accident on Dec. 16, 2004 at Fort Lewis, WA he was only 20. | Comment: Regrets for Reunion ‘25; will be in NYC and Bucks County, PA for an early and long Labor Day weekend with east coast friends. Hope everyone has fun! This is a somewhat recent pic of me from 2023. It was at another reunion — this one with my colleagues and friends from my days as Press Secretary and Deputy Mayor for LA Mayor Dick Riordan, whom we had all just honored at his memorial service at the downtown cathedral. I have been blessed with an adventurous career in public service and politics, and grateful for the friends I’ve made along the way, starting at Keppel.
